MOB HIT! Small Business Saturday – Nov 24th

We’ll be awarding more than $1,000 in prizes on Small Business Saturday!

I remember a donut shop in the neighborhood where I grew up (So. Lawrence) that was called Baker’s Dozen.  You ordered a dozen donuts and got 13.  They were local, they were fresh and they were awesome!

So, in the spirit of that old donut shop…  on Small Business Saturday, November 24th, we’ll be hitting 13 different Small Businesses in Dorchester.  Well, we’ll be hitting 12 of them and then gathering at lucky number #13 for a Christmas Party (yes, I called it Christmas).

The raffle prizes for the night will be donated by the businesses we hit.  Each will have a value of $50.00.  We’re also looking for 4 sponsors to donate raffle prizes with a value of $100.00.  That means that we’ll be giving away at least $1,000 worth of merchandise at Dorchester businesses during our party.

To enter the raffle, just shop at one of the merchants listed (check the bottom of this post – we’re cutting the list off at 12 merchants) on Small Business Saturday and bring your receipt to the party.  You’ll be given 1 raffle ticket for each dollar you spend!

We’ll be meeting for the party that evening at a local watering hole for the first Cash Mob Dorchester Christmas Party!  We’ll announce that location when we confirm it.

For something new, we’ll be streaming the party live on the internet this time so if you can’t be there in person…  join us on line!
